Senior Business Development Manager Monetization

Senior Business Development Manager - Monetization will be functionally reporting to the Head of Verticals and will work in the Monetization Unit in a close interaction with Product Managers, BUMs and FP&A


Responsibilities

  • Participate in development and implementation of monetization product strategies including:

  • Generating ideas and facilitating discussion between PMs and BUMs resulting in a more refined and detailed product strategies

  • Building business cases to assess proposed product development initiatives

  • Monitor implementation of product strategies to explain potential revenue gaps as well as identify further development opportunities

  • Bring in international best-practices via benchmarking, research and interaction with thought leaders outside of the company

  • Own Avito financial model and ensure that operational forecasts and product strategies are aligned with the financial model.


Candidate requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in management consulting (preferably, McKinsey, Bain or BCG)

  • Excellent Excel skills with ability to build complex models from scratch and understand how existing models are constructed; VBA, SQL and Tableau skills are an advantage

  • Great communication skills – able to lead multiple parties with confronting opinions to a united decision that creates maximum value for the company

  • Strong interest in internet businesses (especially classifieds) and monetization thereof

  • Fluent English
